Bethel College

Alumni Scholarships

Alumni and friends can support students by donating to two scholarship endowment funds.

Donations may be sent directly to the Office of Alumni Relations or made online through Bethel’s secure online giving platform. For more information, contact the alumni office.

Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in 1987. Students whose siblings, parents or grandparents attended or currently attend Bethel receive first opportunities for awards. If eligible, recipients are awarded $500 annually (for $2,000 over four years), plus additional scholarships or grants. Some awards are made in the names of specific class years.

Donations designated to the fund are welcomed from anyone at any time. Members of anniversary classes often contribute to their class scholarship fund during their reunion year. For every $10,000 reached, a scholarship is awarded in the name of the class (for example, one scholarship for $10,000, two for $20,000, three for $30,000, etc.).

More than $825,000 is currently in the Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund.

African-American Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment Fund

The African-American Alumni Association (AAAA) Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in 2005. It is separate from the class scholarship fund described above.

All Bethel alumni and friends are invited to contribute to the fund anytime.

Members of anniversary classes often contribute to this and their class scholarship fund.

Nearly $20,000 is currently in the AAAA Scholarship Endowment Fund.
